Follow this guide to enable password autofill in Safari on an iPad.
- Open the Settings app.
- In the left-hand column, scroll down a bit and select the Passwords menu.
- Prompt to enter the lock screen passcode will appear.
- Prompt to enter the lock screen passcode will appear.
- Select Password Options on the upper right-hand side.
- Enable Autofill Passwords and Passkeys option if not already.
- Allow filling from:
- Keychain
- Chrome
You should now be prompted to save new passwords when using the Safari browser.
NOTE: Please be aware that there is not currently a way to easily transfer these bookmarks to a new device without exporting/importing them manually.
