You may rarely run into a situation where Zoom will not update. Typically this is accompanied by a message saying to "Please contact your IT team to update your app." In this scenario, you will need to reinstall the zoom application.

  1. In the Windows search bar, search for Control Panel.
  2. Click the Control Panel app.
  3. If Control Panel is set to Category view, click Uninstall a Program.
-Alternatively, if View by is set to Large or Small icons, click Programs and Features.
  4. Select Zoom in the programs list, then click Uninstall.
  5. If prompted Are you sure you want to uninstall Zoom?, click Yes
  6. Once the uninstallation is complete, please re-download Zoom from the download center and follow the prompts to reinstall. (Zoom Desktop Client x64)
  7. Zoom should now be up-to-date and no longer giving any error messages.

Please submit a helpdesk ticket if you continue to have issues after trying the above steps.
