You may rarely run into a situation where Zoom will not update. Typically this is accompanied by a message saying to "Please contact your IT team to update your app." In this scenario, you will need to reinstall the zoom application.
- In the Windows search bar, search for Control Panel.
- Click the Control Panel app.
- If Control Panel is set to Category view, click Uninstall a Program.
-Alternatively, if View by is set to Large or Small icons, click Programs and Features. - Select Zoom in the programs list, then click Uninstall.
- If prompted Are you sure you want to uninstall Zoom?, click Yes.
- Once the uninstallation is complete, please re-download Zoom from the download center and follow the prompts to reinstall. (Zoom Desktop Client x64)
- Zoom should now be up-to-date and no longer giving any error messages.
