If you run into an issue where you are not receiving email notifications when a staff member shares out a Google Drive file or a Google document with you, here are the following steps to resolve the issue.
Step 1. Go to google drive and locate the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner.
Step 2. Locate and open up settings.
Step 3. In settings locate Notifications, then where it says email make sure the box is checked.
