Modified on Wed, 01 Feb 2023 at 09:57 AM

Below are the steps to set up your google two-factor authentication for Text & voice setup.

Few things to Note.

  • New users have two weeks to set up their accounts without needing a PSK. ( If you have had your district account for more than two weeks, you'll also need a physical PSK to set this option up first)
  • iPhone & Android users can access district accounts using these two options.

1. Click on your profile picture in the upper right-hand corner and select Manage your google account.

2. In the navigation panel, select Security.

3. Under "Signing in to Google," select 2-Step Verification and then Get started.

4. Scroll down till you see Voice or Text message option. Then follow the on-screen steps.

Now that you have set up your two factors, you can see below on how to sign in using the settings.

When you go to sign into your account, you will see the prompt to insert your security key.

1. Click cancel to bring up different sign-in options.

2. Select Try another way. This will bring up some more options to choose from.

3. After the prompt changes, you will notice a selection of 2-step verification sign-ins.

You can find your phone number near the bottom of the page. After you select that option, you will receive either a text or voice message based on the previous options you chose during the initial setup of text & voice.
