By default, email links will automatically open in Windows’ mail app. In order to set emails to open in Chrome’s Gmail, please follow this guide.
- Search “Default apps” in the windows search bar. See Figure 1 below.

- Under “Email” change the default program to Chrome. See Figure 2 below.

Now, all links to email addresses should automatically open in a browser window in Gmail.
